Em 2019, editávamos a nossa primeira publicação, na sequência dos Encontros sobre Políticas da Receção e Envolvimento de Públicos no Contexto das Artes Performativas. Este volume 1 reúne contributos de diferentes agentes do setor artístico, bem como de outras disciplinas, em torno da análise das relações entre criação, programação e recepção no âmbito das artes performativas, procurando problematizar os nexos entre estes três pólos e sistematizar políticas e estratégias de envolvimento.
Passados quatro anos, lançámos o volume 2 desta coleção, referente à 2ª edição dos Encontros do projeto “O Público Vai ao Teatro”, desta vez dedicados ao tema da governança cultural participava. Este novo livro reúne textos de autoras e autores que participaram na 2ª edição dos Encontros, convocando entendimentos e práticas emergentes que nos devolvem novos olhares sobre a gestão dos bens culturais.

In 2019, we edited our first publication, following the Meetings on Reception Policies and Audience Engagement in the Context of Performing Arts. This volume 1 brings together contributions from different agents in the artistic sector, as well as from other disciplines, around the analysis of the relationships between creation, programming and reception in the context of the performing arts, seeking to problematize the links between these three poles and systematize policies and strategies for involvement.
Four years later, we launched volume 2 of this collection, referring to the 2nd edition of the Encounters of the “O Público Vai ao Teatro” project, this time dedicated to the theme of participatory cultural governance. This new book brings together texts by authors who participated in the 2nd edition of the Meetings, calling for emerging understandings and practices that give us new perspectives on the management of cultural assets.
