Il mio lavoro attraversa la tensione tra pensiero e azione, memoria e oblio, danza e teatro. Nei nostri corpi si iscrivono narrazioni, storie incompiute di noi stesse e degli altri.
Il workshop si indirizza a danzatori, attori, movers, performers professionisti e in formazione e a tutti coloro interessati al corpo come luogo di ricerca, a pratiche performative, tecniche di improvvisazione e composizione istantanea.
WORKSHOP APERTO A TUTTI I LIVELLI DI ESPERIENZA
GABRIELLA RICCIO coreografa e danzatrice, vive e lavora tra Madrid, Napoli. Attiva sulla scena della danza sperimentale e di ricerca dal 2003 con la sua formazione indipendente cia.gabriellariccio ha al suo attivo 14 creazioni in cui l’improvvisazione gioca un ruolo fondamentale. Partecipa attivamente al movimento europeo degli spazi culturali autorganizzati. Ha pubblicato saggi sul rapporto tra danza e filosofia e tra etica, estetica e politica. Insieme con Maurizio Zanardi cura la serie di incontri tra danza e filosofia “Perché la danza?”. Oltre al suo lavoro di coreografa, svolge anche importanti attività di insegnamento in seminari e conferenze per diverse istituzioni come centri di danza, teatri, centri d’arte, musei e festival.

Workshop description
My work goes through the tension between thought and action, memory and oblivion, dance and theater. Narratives are written in our bodies, unfinished stories of ourselves and others.
The workshop is addressed to dancers, actors, movers, professional performers and in training and to all those interested in the body as a place for research, to performative practices, techniques of improvisation and instant composition.

GABRIELLA RICCIO
Choreographer and dancer, lives and works between Madrid and Naples. Active on the experimental and research dance scene since 2003 with her independent formation cia.gabriellariccio has to her credit 14 creations in which improvisation plays a fundamental role. Actively participates in the European movement of self-organized cultural spaces. Gabriella has published essays on the relationship between dance and philosophy and between ethics, aesthetics and politics. Together with Maurizio Zanardi she co-curates the series of meetings on dance and philosophy “Perché la danza?”. In addition to her work as a choreographer, she also carries out important teaching activities in seminars and conferences for various institutions such as dance centers, theaters, art centers, museums and festivals.
